Med-Tex Services, Inc. can provide you with designated safety representatives to assist your company in their efforts to maintain a safe workplace and comply with job site requirements. In addition to their on site experience, our authorized safety professionals have completed various recognized safety and health courses.
Our safety personnel are all emergency responders cross trained in a minimum of first aid and CPR. Certifications of education or training, field experience, and background information available upon request. Med-Tex Services also strives to simultaneously work with our own staff and our client’s employees. This affords us the opportunity to not only fulfill a position on a job site, but provide you confidence that any unusual job site issues may be brought to the attention of the entire Med-Tex Services management team for support.
To ensure proper treatment of work-related injuries, This will reduce employees being away from job site at an off site facility. Upon request, we are prepared to offer computer based tracking of injuries or illnesses. This information may be used to do trend analysis, compare job sites, and promote accurate record keeping.
Medical Clearance for Respiratory Protection In accordance with 29 CFR 1910.134 and 29 CFR 1926.103, employers must ensure their employees are medically qualified to wear a respirator. Med-Tex Services, Inc. can provide this service at one of our locations or at any job site for your convenience.
Following our on-site screening, a written opinion from our Medical Review Office (MRO) will be provided. As an added benefit, Med-Tex Services, Inc. will also maintain a database of your employees in the event your documentation is ever misplaced. You will soon be able to access your employee records through our secure web site.
In the event your employees are going to wear a respirator, the employer is not only required to perform a medical evaluation, but the employer must also ensure the employees were properly fit tested on the size, type and style of the respirator being issued.
Our technicians can perform these functions and at one of our locations or on any job site for your convenience. Following the fit test, documentation will be sent to you providing proof of employee fit testing. As an added benefit, Med-Tex Services, Inc. will also maintain a database of your employees in the event your documentation is ever misplaced. You may soon access your employee records through our secure web site.
Drug & Alcohol / Substance Abuse Screening Med-Tex Services, Inc. offers a variety of substance abuse screening options. To suit your needs we are associated with a nationally certified laboratory and will provide testing at one of our locations or at your job site.
As an added benefit, Med-Tex Services, Inc. will also maintain a database of your employees in the event your documentation is ever misplaced. Your Direct Employer Representative* (DER) may soon access your employee records through our secure web site. *Access to drug and alcohol testing confidential unless authorized DER.
Confined Space / High Angle Rescue Teams Med-Tex Services, Inc. employs some of the most qualified technical rope rescue technicians available. Through continuous training and experience in job site staffing, our employees maintain a high level of awareness and expertise.
Med-Tex Services' rescue teams have a full compliment of approved safety and rescue equipment ranging from supplied air systems, atmospheric monitors, and technical rope rescue equipment. Specific to your project needs, we can recommend the appropriate rescue team and suggest a rescue pre-plan that would be acceptable. |

Med-Tex Services will help staff and establish a stocked medical station. Med-Tex can provide 24 hour on-site coverage for industrial shutdowns or turnarounds, construction activities or specialty situations requiring immediate and accessible medical treatment for employees.
Med-Tex Services, Inc. will provide your employees with the recommended medical questionnaire; obtain vital signs, then a trained spirometer technician will perform a pulmonary function test that will help screen your employees.
Fit testing may be performed qualitatively or quantitatively depending on the nature of work and type of respirator being used.
We can perform rapid-screening (qualitative) tests, quantitative lab screening, and breathalyzer screening for any of your drug and alcohol testing needs.
Whether your job scope calls for work at heights with limited means for access and egress, or the tightest of confined spaces, our rescue technicians will provide your employees with an increased comfort level and help your company remain in compliance.
