Med-Tex Services Sponsors 27th Annual Irish Pub Tour de Shore

On Sunday, July 27, 2014, Local 22 will have a team of bike riders participating in the 27th Annual Irish Pub Tour de Shore. This exciting 65 mile bike ride will kick off at the Irish Pub’s 20yh and Walnut Street location in Philadelphia. The ride will come to a celebratory finish at the Pub’s original location on the Atlantic City Boardwalk. Local 22 and Members of the Philadelphia Fire Department have been struck with the tragedy of losing firefighters “in the line of duty” over the years with three of our Brothers in the past 2 years. “Team Local 22” will be riding in memory of: Captain Michael Goodwin, Lieutenant Robert Neary and Firefighter Daniel Sweeney. These Heroes gave the ultimate sacrifice. Med-Tex Services is proud to honor these heroes with this post. “Never Forget”.
